I got a call from a company who was identified on my caller ID as Florida FOP. When I answered I thought it was a pre recorded message as I heard someone saying "have a nice day". I said hello and the man on the other end asked for me by my first name. When I said this is Shirley he acted like we had a bad connection and kept saying hello, hello, hello, and then hung up.
I saw that this company is out of the Miami area and although I do live in Florida I do not live in the Miami area. When I dialed this number back it gave me an option to put my number on a do not call list which I did select. If they do call me again I will take the necessary steps to report them.
they called to speak to the "lady of the house". told them she's not available. Soooooo,
wanted to talk to me on behalf of the (something) FLFOP, with a "PLEASE don't hang up"
cry in the wilderness. (Guess my number is tagged.) Soooooo, my response was "I am
going to do just that." I did, end of story. ... Let's keep in mind that these are professional
fund raisers. THEY get a BIG percentage of the contributions. The more reason to contri-
bute ONLY to those organizations that raise their own funds, with their own volunteers.

Didn't leave a message. Called the number and it is not a working number. Why spend all the time and effort to call and not leave a message. I wish they would just leave me alone!
They keep calling me way before 9 AM, never leave a message either. I thought they had to wait until 9 am to call. I called the number back, and they gave me to a mailbox but it was full and can't leave
