Ok so it is a scam then? I figured that but just figured I should post about my experience. Thanks!

My 87 year old grandmother got a call from this number on 3/3/2015. The man did not identify himself, but he wanted her to make an investment with Capital One. She immediately hung up. Upon further investigation it appears the number is from a Skype account, so all credibility is null and void. This is a scam, pure and simple.

I called the number back, and a man actually answered the phone saying, "Thank you for calling Capital One. How may I help you?" First of all, Capital One has 6 different financial sectors with thousands of branches worldwide. No one person is manning a phone ready to answer it after 2 rings without being from a very specific department. You have to go through 4 different automated prompts just to talk to someone about talking to someone about talking to the person you need to talk to.

I've sent an e-mail to [email protected] with the phone number. Hopefully they can shut it down. At the very least they can trace it to an IP address as long as the fraudulent party is stupid enough not to know how to mask it.

I too got a "loan approval" but I called the p# on my capital one credit card and GEUSS WHAT, the address and p# in my email  are NOT AFFILIATED WITH CAPITAL ONE BANK!!!! Raymond Martin Loan Consultant & Mark Brown Funding Manager do not EXIST.I am glad I did not wire these [***] one penny!!! I hope someone reads this before they get screwed out of their hard earned money.They must PREY on people like me who need a REAL LOAN without having the best of a credit history.craig in virginia

I received and email with the 1-786-379-5942 call back number and says it's Capital One Bank and that I an approved for $4500.00. The documents look sort of realistic, it includes ans promissory/loan agreement document to sign and date. I knew it was fraudulent because a Bank would not approve you that quickly and send papers to sign by email without even talking to me first or obtaining any type of proof that I am who I say I am.

capital one have a credit that I should receive any time now. It is over 2,000 dollars. Can you put my credit that capital one owe me on my card? I have contacted my lawyer about this. She would like to solve this as soon as possible. If not solve soon she will proceed with legal action. Please resolve. soon. Thank you.
