Same here, about 5 minutes ago with same info... Did not open attachment... Sure it is a scam as the company noted: www.kinemed.com is not in Florida and it is listed with a different phone #...
Just letting yall know this is not just a scam email but there's a virus embedded in the invoice_cam.doc file so get your comps off the network and run an in depth scan to purge it. Also clear your temporary downloaded files or it'll come back. We just got hit with this one from Chris Bailey saying we owed money for our SWBell.net account and they even had a "reply" in the message with a RE: unpaid SWBell.net invoice in the header. If you are ever caught off guard by an email, don't open the attachments especially if they're saying you owe money and the website they give is completely unrelated to a debt collector when you Google the website they provide. Instead call the company they claim you owe money to in order to verify the authenticity first. In this case the first number they provided goes to a full inbox and the cell number they gave is disconnected. I just had to remind the office staff of that so we don't compromise our network again.
