This is a scam. But, the scam is not the context of the email which may read:
I'm still waiting for the [***] money!
Please send a check for the due invoice or you will hear from our attorney.
I'm reattaching it for your review.
The scam is the attachment. The attachment contains a macro. The macro may contain malicious commands that could lead to the installation of malicious software or viruses.
If you receive the email with this content, you should simply delete it.
Yep, got the same profane message and my Kaspersky anti-virus eliminated the attachment indicating that it was possibly trouble. Funny, I looked up KineMed and they appear to be a Bio-Tech company in California and it doesn't appear that a Chris Baily works there. I wonder if KineMed is aware of this email?
