I keep getting phone calls from this number and I keep asking to be removed from whatever list he got my number from and "john" ( or so he says, he is clearly NOT from America) informed me he will not take my name and number off if this list. And he continued talking. I told him to stop talking and listen to what I was saying and he told he me no and if I did not listen to him and do what he said I would be dead!!! He says it is medical compensation from a surgery, I've never had and he is insisting that I do! I'm pretty sure I would know if I ever had surgery!!!!!!! How can I get this man to stop calling me?????
Please do NOT generalize and make a billion people pay for the sins of a bad few. There are scammers of every nationality out there; including pure blooded Americans.
Got a call from these losers, told the idiot I couldn't even understand a word he was saying & until he learned to speak English properly, not to call me back! That's when he started with his inappropriate [***]!! And I lost it!! These pieces of [***] call & harass me, and they don't even speak English!! Then they get all butt hurt when u tell them to [***] off!! WTF?? I'm sorry, but if u call me, & I don't know u, or understand u, I have every right to tell u to [***] off!! Welcome to America [***]!!!! It's called freedom of speech!! But what u guys r doing is called harassment!!
Had this same exact call today by the same thick Indian accented man. Funny all these people getting the call asking for a 'Lynn'. Well that's my name so at first I thought oh maybe they hit the jackpot finally calling me. Then thought back on it again and nope they actually called me by my full name. Weird, yes?! Then I noticed right before the call my live.com account (Microsoft) had been hacked. Well damn. They were calling with the same scam about surgeries and blah blah... Luckily I just hung up without a call again back but this evening then my friends all started to tell me they received emails with a strange link in them. Obviously they weren't dumb enough to click them. I may just be putting two and two together here and coming up with a five instead of four, but after reading all through these comments Im thinking these two occurrences in one day are far too coincidental to brush off. This would make sense why most of you they had your names and some cases your locations because that info is stored in any email account info in one way or another. Suggestion, to which I will be taking my own advice now, is change your passwords often. I know that seems like such a hassle and for what, some pathetic person who doesn't have anything better to do than screw with hardworking honest people like us, but I would rather take the five minutes (if that) every two weeks to change a password than to have more than just my email hacked. Be safe out there in in cyberland peeps and may someone catch whoever this brazen s.o.b might be and have him punished to the fullest extent!
