The DNCR is a total joke and a waste of time. But if it makes you feel better keep reporting unwanted telephone calls to the DNCR. I would rather watch grass grow.
There is no phone number to call to report these idiots. You have to register your phone numbers with the FTC's Do Not Call list at https://www.donotcall.gov/ and then report violators on the web site. If you don't want to spend the money for a call blocker or phone with call blocking, your best bet is to invest in a digital answering machine and have an outgoing message that's offensive to these scam artists. My outgoing message says that telephone solicitors should hang up and spend their time looking for a REAL job instead of annoying me. It's been very effective in discouraging return calls from telemarketers with two or three exceptions. I've also used a bogus "Mental Health Hotline" recording (available by calling 218-488-1302) with good results. Any outgoing answering machine message longer than 30 seconds usually makes these scumbags hang up without leaving a message, and it seems to make robocalls disconnect before leaving a message as well.
From reading the comments on this number, it's plain to me that these scammers are not a legitimate company. The FTC's rules clearly state that telemarketers can only call between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM. I believe telemarketing calls are prohibited on Sundays as well.
Sorry but you got the first part right, but not the second. Do you enjoy being able to go to the mall on Sunday? Blue laws went out years ago, and businesses are now allowed to be open 7 days a week. As long as they call between those hours it is legal.
