Foreigner called twice today, offers to help me with a "fake" problem, before further action against me before a Magistrate Judge.... This is similar to the "fake" IRS impersonators who called this past summer... the IRS website/homepage had posted a warning about this scam to warn people about it before getting taken by these criminals. Fortunately, I know I don't have these problems so I know they are criminals working their game. I have blocked this number from my phone, but everyone who gets these calls should report these criminals so they can be prosecuted and jailed. These idiots think we don't know they are scammers. I still get the scam calls from Microsoft.
Got a phone call from this number at 7:45am threatening to help me with a "legal issue", and if I did not take action, I would have to appear before a magistrate judge. Heavily accented man. Quite obviously a scam.
they have called before.. many times.. once from Florida and New York (they are calling right now) again, twice so far today, once they called at 7:30 am.. I answered this time and asked them if they knew it was illegal for them to call before 9:00 am.. they hung up and quit calling me... another time I told them I was a county sheriff and ask if it was ok to record the call.. they quickly hung up..
