I have been getting calls from New Mexico, Florida, Maryland, and other places all saying they are for this Government program offering scholarships to pay off my student debt, and that I can pick up the money today from CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Direct Deposit, or to any plastic card I have. When I asked for a website or other information for proof that this wasn't a scam, she just kept saying, "This is no scam! Do you want the money or not?!" I said NOT and blocked yet another number. Stay away from those scammers!
I just had an incoming call from 786-471-8217 yesterday at 4:31pm. I did not bother to answer until they left a message which was "2-1-7 Thank You" in a female robocalling voice at 4:35pm on that same day. Today I called back at 2:26pm. There was a male foreigner who told me to press 101 to claim my Federal Grant. I told him flat out "No," and I immediately hung up. These scammers just don't know when to quit. I hate being scammed. I also hate the fact that they are trying to scam me to go after my money. I don't like their job. I don't care who hired them to pull scams on people out of the blue, but this needs to stop....Period.
