I have been getting calls from New Mexico, Florida, Maryland, and other places all saying they are for this Government program offering scholarships to pay off my student debt, and that I can pick up the money today from CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Direct Deposit, or to any plastic card I have. When I asked for a website or other information for proof that this wasn't a scam, she just kept saying, "This is no scam! Do you want the money or not?!" I said NOT and blocked yet another number. Stay away from those scammers!
This company calls my husband and I (on separate cell phones) multiple times a day, leaving robo messages to call back and claim money; but without stating their company name or what the claim money is in reference to. My husband has told them, twice, to stop calling, but they continue to do so. I will try blocking the number, but others here have stated that they use multiple numbers. This should be illegal - harassment.
