I got the same call under several similar numbers. They've been trying under different names: Health Republic, Altegra Health. Finally picked up one of these calls and a young guy is telling me that Health Republic is offering a $20 gift card, if main members of the family go to their doc for their yearly physical by the end of 2014. When you look up both these companies, you get a website for Altegra Health stating "Health Republic Insurance of New York (Health Republic) has selected Altegra Health as their vendor of choice for risk analytics, member outreach, targeting, and data submissions."
- If you read further on Altegra's site it says: "Altegra Health’s Risk Analytics & Reporting solutions provide a Web-based analytics and reporting platform that enables healthcare organizations to manage risk and review financial performance.
- It also says: "Altegra Health is a national provider of technology-enabled, end-to-end payment solutions that enable health plans and other risk-bearing organizations to generate, analyze and submit the data needed to successfully manage member care and ensure appropriate reimbursement.
- Do an internet search for Altegra and it seems several organizations have aligned themselves with Altegra: Medicaid Health Plans of America, Medical Mutual of Ohio, amongst a host of others.
WTF? Either way, whether this is legit, or not, I smell a rat.
I got the same call....but they did not leave a message. I do have Health Republic Insurance, but what kind of company does not leave a message? Quite suspicious.
