I received a phone call from this number both yesterday and today. Told them I was in the hospital. They are calling me to let me know my boyfriend has a legal case against him and to call back Office David Chambers in regards to this as soon as possible. What a hoax! The thing that baffles me is how did they get his name attached to my cell phone number? This was a thick Indian accented voice on this call. Before this, I got calls two days in a row from another number asking for him saying that his Dell computer has malware on it and was I sitting in front of his computer at the time. This came from a different number with another thick Indian accented voice. That number was 404-777-4567 which I called back and "This is a nonworking number"
Got a call from (786)484-7199 "us treasury" they wouldn't give me any information about why they were calling and told me someone was coming to arrest me. I was pretty rude so they hung up on me but after talking to my lawyer found out it was a total scam. Be really careful! Its sad this is what the world is coming to
Like others, I received three phone calls from this number. The verbiage is nearly identical so definitely reading from a script.
"This message is intended for XXXXXX. The very second you receive this message I need you or your retain attorney off record to return the call. The issue attend is extremely time sensitive. My name is Joe Johnson with the US treasury. The hotline to my division is 786-484-7199. I repeat it's 786-484-7199. Don't disregard this message. Return the call now. If you don't return the call or if I don't hear from your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as situation unfolds on you until then goodbye and have a blessed day."
I just received a phone call telling me I was involved in a case and that I needed to contact Officer David Chambers and he would inform me on what to do. I was skeptical and decided to look the number up and came across numerous sites saying this is a scam phone number

I receive a call at 5:03 telling me I was a prime suspect in a case and I needed to call the officer in charge. I laughed at him he did not like that. He told me I would have to deal with the consaquences. Bad spelling. I hung up on him and he called back. I did not answer. Middle eastern accent. Sick and tired of the amount of calls I receive from other States and out of the country.
