Received call from number....Heavy accent...stating he was from "Medical health Care Center". My name was given because their list shows I had taken "Risperdal" a depression medication with side effects. He then tried to get personal information from me. Told him his list was wrong and do not call any further...he went on and on...ended up blocking the call from my phone....SCAM!
3 times today and twice last night. Caller ID says florida. Dont kow any Floridocians. didn't answer. Put cell on Silent mode at night so I can sleep without jerks calling me.
Received 2 calls today - answered the second call at 9:30pm to my cell phone (on DNC list). Indian gentleman attempting to ask about Risperdal medication from J&J - mentioned something about side effects and that I was owed compensation if I had taken the drug.
I tried to push for information how he obtained my number and simply mentioned that they are working with the federal government from a supplied list of potential medication users. Never told me (or I never understood) what company he actually works for or how my number was identified - not even sure if he had my name associated to it or not.
Finally got fed up with the accent and just told him that I don't take any anti-depressant drugs and to remove my name from his 'list.'
A woman with heavy India accent stating that she was from an "American Insurance Company" and they determined that someone in my household took the drug Respidal and we were entitled to compensation. No one in my household took the drug. Scam
Same thing, "someone in family took antidepressants".. After I told slumdog millionaire that I was reporting him he promptly hung up.... BUT WAIT!!! This scammer didn't use a caller id # changer/blocker, therefore you can CALL HIM BACK... I'm tired of people that try to steal from unsuspecting people. I am now calling him back saying he owes me money. Do the same thing!!!
This number has called me a couple times and claims to have medical notes on my family. They don't introduce themselves or their company. Plus, medical history is private information. It's a scam.
