Bogus "rewards redemption" phishing scam. Called my cell (big no-no), left message. Ignore them, do not give them info, they are not going to send you a reward, they're going to steal your private info and drain your bank account.
Interesting, I did do a credit card activation call, although from a different number. It's not a verification for that -- the message was one of those bogus rewards redemption thingies -- "you recently purchased a product, blahblahblah...." but is meant to get you to give them personal info. Perhaps it's just a coincidence.
