I would like to thank everyone for ther comments& warnings! These ppl wouldn't stop calling me non stop! So I Google this # 2 find out what company this is because I never applied! So after investigating this# & reading ur comments, I finally answer ther call! Asked them a bunch of stupid questions then told them I was a police officer from Florida & they studderd didn't kno wut to say & hung up! I couldn't even call them back to [***] with them some more because they kept hanging up! Lol! Thanks everyone!
I am having the same problem. So I called it back. They said it was a loan company, and when I told them I haven't applied for a loan the lady hung up on me. So...I called back told the next person I was hung up on an that person also hung up on me!
I answered the phone, (8/11/15) a female voice asked for my husband. I said "He's deceased". She said "he's WHAT?", I said "He's DEAD", she asked how long and I said over a year then she said in a angry voice "Who's going to pay me the money he owes me". I told her that he didn't owe anyone money and told her not to call again or I'll call the police.
➡️ then she said in a angry voice "Who's going to pay me the money he owes me". ⬅️
Does she really think she'll need it down where she's going?
The correct general answer to that question should be known by the so-called creditor: file a timely claim against the estate and it will be (or would have been) considered. Otherwise, you are too late.
In any particular situation, consult your attorney. Presumably, there either is one already involved, whether in your case the will named an executor or executrix or the court named an administrator to settle the estate.
