company is credence resource management. trying to collect for at+t. too bad for them, my debt with them is over 5 years old, which means under florida law, it is 'expired statute of limitations' which means legally they can't sue me to collect it in court.
the best way to deal with them is to HANG UP and do not agree/admit/commit to anything, otherwise you may reset the time clock on the statute, and end up responsible for the debt again, even agreeing to pay 'anything' will reset it ! HANG UP on them KNOW your rights
under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the statutes in your state regarding debt,
some are less than 5 years, some more.
