Same issues as everyone one else. See this number come up 2+ times per day. this time I answered with "you call me every day, what is so important" then a hang up.
This is the marketing arm of Direct Energy - SGR services in Florida. They are looking to market their energy to you. Will call anywhere from 3 - 6 times a day. Tell them to remove you from their marketing lists.
Received a call today from this number this afternoon identifying themselves as Direct Energy. Phone lines was very sketchy, broken - and very high noise level in the background (like a call centre), not professional at all. Set my wife's sensors off, she was not feeling good about the call. Could tell woman was reading a script and rapidly reading a lot of information that she wanted me to agree with. No time to digest the information, with the high noise level in the background I got more and more uncomfortable and would not say, Yes, to her statements that we had agreed, but I did at one point give her our email address. Should I be concerned??
Well another number - another collector(?)
It’s a recording. They do not identify themselves, they just leave a number to call. They say “this is a call for Julie A. Nelson. If you are not Julie A. Nelson hang up” which I did. Then they say “If you are not Julie A. Nelson, call such and such number to take you off our list” Which I have done. They just send it to another, I assume, collector after collector after collector. Or they say “if you accept this call you are admitting that you are Julie A. Nelson”. So I don't call. This has been going on for over four years. I don’t know how to stop it! They just don’t want to believe I am not “Julie A. Nelson”. I am 75 years old for crying out loud!!!!!!!!! I would call this harassment.
Can I sue? I am just about ready to hire an attorney!
