with a "cold call" to unsuspecting people.
Instead
The IRS always sends snailmail letters first!
There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Called at 8:40 am, 9:40 am & 10:40 am - JUST TODAY!!!! Left 3 messages on my voice mail. Same old IRS scam. Now I've blocked that number too. But they'll just use a different number
