I got one call mentioning my mobile number, no name, and saying that I had received replacement equipment in September, and needed to return the defective equipment in the pre-paid mailer I received, or be liable to pay $300-$350. The message was a recorded, robo-voice.

Received a couple of robo-messages in my voicemail with the following message:
"Good evening. This is Adam from Onprocess Technologies on behalf of Asurion. This message is for the owner of wireless number xxx-xxx-xxxx in regards to claim # xxxxxxxx. We are calling in reference to the replacement equipment that was delivered to you on April 30th. Asurion still shows there is non-working equipment that needs to be returned. I would like to remind you that all non-working equipment needs to be returned in the postage pre-paid envelope that was provided for you as soon as possible or you may be charged a non-return fee of $300 for the cost of the replacement equipment. Please call if you have any questions at 1-800-762-0276 and when calling, please reference your wireless number xxx-xxx-xxxx."
The thing is that I did not contact anyone to get my phone replaced and I called Asurion who told me that they do not have any record of this.
