Received robocall message that debit card had been declined, press 1 to speak to customer service. Was googling area code to see if it was a scam when line went dead. Puerto Rico, it's a scam.
An automated voice just called me from this number and said my debit card has been temporarily suspended. It said to press "1" to be connected to their 24 Hour Security department. I hung up, and followed up with a call to my bank. My debit card is fine and this was a scam. Be careful! Never give out information over the phone. Always hang up and call THEM!!
Received call saying that my debit card had been decllned etc. The caller said that more information was needed to reauthorize another card or some such thing. Hung up phone and immediately called my bank. Debit card had not been compromised in any way
