received a call from this number this evening advising that they were collecting on an old payday loan I had secured with Midland financial in the amount of $400. they were trying to collect $600. if no action on my part, papers would be served. how did I want to proceed? they did their best to get money from me. when I pushed for facts, they advised the month and year, October 2008, that the deposit was made into my checking account. I subsequently checked with my bank who could find no record of such deposit being made.
Same story here. They keep calling and leaving messages saying myself or my attorney needs to contact them to prevent further legal action. The one time I talked to them they refused to provide any type of documentation or proof of a payday loan debt. They then called my husband and kep asking him for our bank info. They couldn't even verify the name of the company they were calling from. Needless to say, we did not fall for the scam but sadly people probably do.
I got a call from this 1-801-218-2376 yesterday threatening to come to my home or place of business. Today they called back from 802-276-0709 area code number. I selected 1 and spoke to a woman and told her that I knew it was a scam and called the police. She had the nerve to actually say " WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO" before she hung up on me. And she knew what she was saying...I contacted the police and THEY CAN'T/ WON'T do a thing!!!! Unreal!!!!!
That is because you need to file the report with the proper agencies which they should have told you.

Threatening telling my daughter wanting her or a attorney. To call right away legal matter.... Stop calling 4th different numbers saying th e same thing. so tired of threatening calls!!!!!! STOP !!!!!
