801-236-7599 spoke to Shawna she stated she was with National Account Recovery (http://www.nationalrecovery.com). She was attepmting collect on a medical bill. The problem that we are having is that the medical bill they are saying we "owe" was never submitted to our health insurance. After explaining this, she still attempted to collect full payment from us. I will not be paying this bill before it gets submitted for insurance coverage that we pay a lot of money for every month! My elderly parents received a call from this number. The caller said her name was Sandra Hall and that I gave elderly parents name and number as a reference. The lady (Sandra Hall) left her name and number (801-235-7599). Don't know who these people are but, I NEVER give my parents as a reference on ANYTHING!
Just got call NAR on display. Asked if I knew a neighbor in my complex here, gave his name and unit number. I told her I knew where the unit is but not the tenant. Asked 4 times: "Why does she think I can help her with someone I do not know" She danced around it and refused to directly answer. I asked what company she worked for and she refused to answer. I reminded her she called me and I wanted to know exactly why and also how she found me. Told her she was being coy... she didn't know what "coy" meant. I was telling her she was way over her head choosing to ring my number, that's when she hung up. I'm turning her in, to all the agency's I can. I'm on the no call list, and I think collection people can not call if not actually collecting from me. Lil' slimy ratfink.
I asked this person to send me either in an email or sent to my address any paperwork that states I owe this debt. She "claim" that it was sent to 2 different emails (but they were having email issues and emails were not showing up) and they have my address and she said it was mailed and they can only send one mailing out. I know that if they can't provide something it is a scam....not being duped....
