I have had repeated calls, at all hours of the day into evening, to my cell phone from this number, but since it is not familiar to me I have never picked up.
Received a call today from #1-801-257-7869. It does not look like a legitimate #. It is from a Utah address, on my caller ID. They were looking for A Chu person. I think that this is somebody trying to get info from me. It looks like some form of telemarketing. Please check this phone # out. I am listed on the do not caller list.
Received a call from this company. My boss is a legitimate subscriber to Wall Street Journal magazine and he had just renewed his subscription. These people tried to get me to pay over the phone saying they would give a big discount on the renewal if we paid over the phone.
I wasn't aware that he had already subscribed, so I told them I don't pay over the phone, but you can send an invoice. When my boss remembered he had already subscribed, I called the legitimate number 1-800-JOURNAL and they had no record of any calls being made from their company to us.
Basically, ignore or report this number, as they are scamming for your credit card information.
