Got burned on this one...twice. Usually ignore these, but said yes out of curiosity. Took callback for cancelling service. Received Bank of America offer for free credit report. Intended to cancel before 30 days. Didn't review material til too late. Paid the the $13 fee for the 2nd month. Missed cancelling the 3rd month and paid fee again and cancelled monthly service. Material collates credit reports that you can get for free from credit bureaus, once per year. BofA service purports to notify you immediately of any unusual activities. My credit union will do notify me on my CU account numbers for free. My advice: Don't bother accepting as you may be too busy to remember due date for cancellation.
The National Security Agency has been secretly collecting the phone call records of tens of millions of Americans, using data provided by AT&T, Verizon and BellSouth
Receive up to three calls a day. I reported each and every call to DoNotCall.gov (13 calls in 5 days)! I have had success in ending the calls after reporting them. Don't just let the machine pick up - REPORT THEM.
