They call constantly, which is a real disruption since I work from home. If I do answer and ask "who is calling" there is no response and then they hang up, only to call 30 minutes later. It it maddening.
Apparently this is a new number for SSI, which is a survey company and of course not covered by the regulations of the do not call registry. Personally do not call, to me, means just that. Do not call me for any reason. I saw it on my caller ID and redialed it since it was not a toll-free number, this is how I found out it was SSI. Normally I don't call back but every once in a while, I do.

Caller ID says SSI. They used to call all the time and I blocked them. Now they've started calling every day again, it must be a new number like Roe above said. Block them if you can.
They called again today but five times, using this number and several others, all on the same day. This time it came up as SSI. I do not have voice mail connected (don't use my landline, cell is primary) and I have the ringers turned off. I think surveys should be exempt, especially when they start changing numbers and names several times in one day and call the same number. Obviously, they don't get the hint, it will not be answered.
Hi Roe - SSI comes up a lot here - as I recall they are pretty much debt scammers, and I am guessing the name is not accidental. So being crooks, you are left with ignore and block. Take care - nice to see the flamingos again!
