I also received a call and they asked me if I have kids or persons living with me younger than 18. I didn't tell them anything. It might me a modus operandi or might be a child abduction plan or whatever. They didn't just even give me their names... What's this?.... BE CAREFUL w/ this no...
Just answered call and when they asked for a specific person my reply was "who's calling", they never said another word - phone eventually disconnected after 1 minute.
The Caller ID displayed "Out of area." I let the call go to the recorder (yes, I still use one of those...hate voicemail) and it was a recording. They were trying to sell me a home alarm system. I already have one, and I have never solicited for one online. I'm going to report this number to the Do Not Call list.
Just got one but a trick I accidently learned is not to say anything because, in general, I think these systems are triggered by a voice which then routes the call to a person. If you don't say anything the call will disconnect after about 15 seconds.
