On June 26, 2012 a male voice from this number left a crank message on our answering machine here in Tennessee. Sounded twenty-something, but of course it’s hard to determine age from a phone message. The voice exclaimed, “Oh, oh. MRS. Williams!? Oh my God!” and hung up. Big emphasis on “Mrs.” Obviously, this was intended to imply that the caller had some kind of relationship with my wife, but had not known she was married until listening to our answering machine’s greeting, in which I announce, “This is the number for [my name] and [her name] Williams. Please record a message after the tone.” In other words, he simply used the info from my answering machine’s greeting to make a childish prank call. Together with the other postings at this website, we can infer that the people that use this number are not part of a real business, as they pull pranks when they get bored trying to steal identity info from people. Don’t talk to these people. If your are so annoyed that you want to do something, then lodge a complaint with your phone company, www.donotcall.gov, and the office of your state’s attorney general.
