Just a heads up, there are many junk debt collectors out there. They buy your debt for pennies on the dollar or they just run a credit report on you and see who and what you owe and try to collect on a debt that isn't even owed to them. When dealing with a collection agency, always ask for validation of debt before you pay them a cent and never ever give them your bank account information. They are dirty and will drain your bank account in a second saying you authorized them to get more money that you originally agreed to pay. Without the validation of debt, you could also make a payment to them and later find out that you still have the debt and owe it to the original creditors. Plus, if they are only contacting you by phone, that is suspicious. A legit collection agency will mail you a debt collection letter informing you that you have the right to ask for validation. I never ever answer the phone and deal with anyone that I don't know whom they are.
I got a call from this same outfit at work. I politely told them to not call me at work and the person on the other end got all excited and started yelling at me. I just told her that the call was terminated and hung up.
It is Bennet Law. I just got a call and they left a voice mail. Try to get to Isaac. He's nice. I've had some on going payments worked out with them for a while. Mine didn't clear this month which is why I got a call. He was flexible and made an arrangement to move the payment for this month. Originally when I called they wanted $900 a month or were going to garnish and it was scary but I talked to Isaac back then to. He heard me out and let me explain my whole situation and found something much more manageable for me. Roughly one third of what they demanded at first. Still a lot but I can at least live with it.
