Claimed to be Law Office but used very illegal and threatening language. Threatened to have sherriff arrest me for debt (NO SUCH ANIMAL IN UNITED STATES!!!) Demanded full payment immediately or I would be arrested! Definately a Scam Artist!!!
I just got a call also, looking for my neighbors...trying to help them. HA HA. He said he got our number calling directory assistance and asking for people near the house of the neighbor. I thought it was fishy too. Where is the government when you need them. These people should be in jail!
Like the rest of you, I also got a phone call from the so called law office of Ms. Tracy Paul. Jason did not even leave a last name and told me that I have until the close of business day tomorrow to call and settle my debt(that I don't have)outside of court like an adult would! How crazy is this....he told me that he was going to file a judgement against me...for what i don't know...anyway I will be reporting this to all the right authorities. Thank you EC for the information. It will not go unused.
hey, question for dd ..... Did the guy who called you, use the name Dennis Lowe? These things this person said to you sound alot like the things "Dennis Lowe" said to my husband!!!! How are these people getting away with this. Like our debt isn't punishment enough for all of us!! We don't need people illegally contacting us and harassing us. I reported it to the FTC and I'm contacting our attorney.
