Got call from exactly the same number. Didn't answer, no message left. What a scam, really. If they had left a message, cell phone owner would have to pay for the call.
called my home at 10 am on my day off, left no message, caller ID said "ZRII". Tried to call the number but it would not connect (made a noise like the number did not exist).
I THINK IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL FOR COMPANIES TO BE ABLE TO PUT INVALID NUMBERS ON CALLER ID!!! SOMEONE PASS A LAW!!!
An update: looked up ZRII and found a company website www.zrii.com, which seems to be a health product company. Their main number is 801-878-8000, also obviously in Utah in the same area code. I spoke with a very nice woman on the phone who seemed concerned that their company name was on the Caller ID of what seemed to be a spam call. She said she would submit the information about the 801-520-1980 number at her company to investigate who was using their name.
My suggestion to anyone else who gets a call from this or any other number, especially if it says "ZRII" on the caller ID is to call the company and politely ask them to look into it as well. If enough people do this, perhaps the company behind the spam will be forced to cease and desist (until they find a new number and name, of course, HA!)
Just got a call from them. I let it go to voice mail but they didn't leave a message. I'm on the do not call list, but apparently that doesn't mean anything.
