Just got a call from 801-598-4650 (today Friday, 2/6/2015 at 11:20 AM EST). The caller (some guy who did not give his name) wanted to know about my credit card balance, implied I was delinquent and he was going to help fix the problem. When I asked what credit card he was talking about he said "I guess your an [***]" and hung up on me.
My telephone number is private so I don't know how this organization got it in the first place, but regardless of that you would think that these scam artists would have been shut down. There are a lot of other posts on this website from other victims receiving similar scam calls.
Signs of the current sad state of our economy and world. Let's try and get America strong again, starting by stamping out vermin like these scam artists, and bringing back some level of common courtesy and morality. At the least program your phones to block the number above out.
IRS Scam call. Caller ID indicated Cell Phone, UT. Left Message on answering machine indicating it was the IRS and they would sue if I didn't pay back taxes. Left bogus callback phone number 02 436 9940.
Recorded message reduce credit card rate press 1 for assistance. I pressed 1 when lady answered I told her to shove an eggplant up her [***] and hung up.
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
