Called them back they identified themselves as Convergent Outsourcing. Assume a Debt collection agency of low repute. I called 6 times with my number blocked and they hung up on my before speaking to me. Would not give any other information as to what they did and tried to gather as much info from me as possible.
You didn't say whether it is AM or PM. If it was AM....yes, but not prosecutable because it is not uncommon for various clocks to be off by a minute or so.........NO, if it was at 7:59pm. Federally mandated times are 8am - 9pm local times
Call every day, twice at 8:00-8:30 am and twice later in the day. They don't leave a message. I assume it's a debt collector for a person that used to live here and has used my phone number on her credit applications. I have been getting calls from these people for 2 years now and I have told them several times that I don't know where she went and have no contact with her but they they keep calling anyway. I block the numbers but they just start calling from different numbers and use fake ID's on caller ID like "Family Medical Provider" and "Hospital".
