got a call from some foreign speaking man with lots of background noise wanting to speak to me about the mortgage on my business.  We have no mortgage.

I'm sure it was someone in a foreign country sitting at an internet cafe trying to scam people out of their money....

yes i just got one, but i was at work and i don't have a answering machine. so i tried to call back and it said that it want take calls from a personal phone. after that i looked it up and got all of you. this suck, i hope its not anything bad.

called me four times yesterday on my work line, back to back, no one was on the other line so i called back and it said the number was disconnected, very sketchy

These "people" are located on the island of Jamaica.  Do I need to tell you they are low-life?  They use a variety of scams to try and extract information from you.  If you forcefully challenge them they will threaten to kill you and quote your name and address in an attempt to intimidate you.  There is nothing that can be done and you either ignore the calls or get a call blocking service or device.  I have received these calls now from the 876, 901, 801 area codes over the last two months.  They simply use a phone directory for the calling list.

Second call at 7:21pm,  picked up phone and kept saying hello - no one would answer, then they hung up.

first call, let go to answering system and they hung up as well.

Guess they don't understand that when on a Government No Call List, that means No Calls
