Got a call this morning from this number and was able to look it up quickly so I didn't answer. Also saved the number as a "SPAM" named contact and set the ringer to "none" so it won't ring. I do this with all spam callers. I realize it is someone at the other end trying to make a living with a thankless job, but it is still annoying.
Just called and said I won one of four possible prizes and have to pick up a scratch card to see which one.
They claimed to be rated by the BBB as well. They asked for my yearly income???? I said I am not interested. they had the address of my employer as well?? Not sure where they got it from.
Got a call on my cell. Ignored it and found this site. I've gotten quite a few telemarketing calls this past week on my cell and I confirmed that it's on the Do Not Call list since 2008. Reporting this number to the Do Not Call Registry.
We have gotten several calls from this number over the past 3 weeks. Always want to talk to the person in charge - never leave a message - hang up quickly. If someone won't leave their name or who they represent - I won't pass the call on.
same scratch off deal with 4 possible prizes. wanted to meet me at a starbuck to present me the card. I told them to mail it, but said they needed to give it to me directly so they were sure I was the right person. I told them mail it with return receipt/sign...said they can't. Hung up. sounds like they got my info off of my business website.
Just received a call from this number the lady was asking for my manager, who was listening in on the conversation, i ask waht this was in regards to so i could inform my manager what they need, because she is a very busy lady, the caller proptly said she will just call back later and hung up.
Haha scam.
