I've received 3 calls from 801-701-9900 over the past week. And the prior week, I received 3 calls from 801-802-0117. Neither one lets it ring long enough to go to voicemail. I barely have enough time to pick up the phone before they hang up. Never received calls like this in the past.
I have received roughly three calls a week from this number, and when I pick up they go straight to voicemail. It appears to be a Utah area code, but "MNR data collection" as they call themselves does not exist as far as I can tell. What is going on?
I think I have the weirdest story yet for this number. I got two voice messages in succession from this number which I did not answer simply because I did not hear the phone ringing. Both messages were for the full length of my voice mail until it cuts off. All I could hear was the sounds of what seemed to be a political rally of some sort. There was a lot of background clapping like you hear at a political rally or in a stadium. There was also someone's voice over a loudspeaker system, but it was too muffled for me to understand what was being said. It just went on like that on both voice mails, like someone was holding up their phone at a gathering, but without anyone ever coming on the line and saying anything distinct. How strange is that??
