I've received 3 calls from 801-701-9900 over the past week. And the prior week, I received 3 calls from 801-802-0117. Neither one lets it ring long enough to go to voicemail. I barely have enough time to pick up the phone before they hang up. Never received calls like this in the past.
A man called last night and asked for me. He said he wanted to do survey for insurance. I turned him down as we had company, and it was a Sunday evening. Then tonight another man calls and asks for my husband. He told me he wanted to speak to him about a survey Michigan was doing regarding auto insurance. He answered a few questions but the survey went on and on. Finally my husband hung up. Within minutes another call came in from another organization, but with a 313 area code. He was suspicious and declined to continue the phone call. No sooner had he hung up, and another call came through from M&R Data. We let the machine pick up, but they failed to leave a message.
Got a call around 3:30 on a sunday afternoon.. i didn't even have a chance to pick up before they hung up. I called the number back, and put in Hiram Chairez's extension shown above, and talked with him. He said it was a survey from the National Education Association, but he had no problem removing me from their list.
