Google does not telemarket, these are scammers - they do not hire subcontractors to telemarket for them either - check with Google before making statements
i don't believe google will call you... basically, there are 100's of call centers out there who call you regarding your seo, search engine optimization... they claim they will get you on the first page of google for like 1000 a year... then they will drop to 500, maybe even 100... not really a full blown scam... but be wary... not everyone can be on the front page... also, please note, that these dialing machines can put ANY NUMBER THEY WANT INTO THEIR CALLER ID... so they could call from utah 801 one day, and south dakota 605 the next, and they r located in phoenix... bottom line people, if you are going to buy something, research it first... if someone calls you, IT IS NOT A GOOD DEAL - HANG UP - STOP TELEMARKETING - TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF IT! I expressed my concern to this woman - that I felt it was a fraudulent call and she tells me, Oh No - Don't Worry! I was trying to keep her hanging on long enough so I could transfer her to the Jolly Roger Robot I just read about today - but she hung up. This is a well published scheme. Google will not call you.

A woman called my office asking to talk to someone in "accounts." I asked her if she needed accounts payable or accounts receivable. She said either would be fine. I told her the person who handles that was out for the afternoon and asked if I could leave a message. She said she would call back tomorrow.
