Received the same call, trying to lower your Electricity rates before the increase in Jan. Got the same msg last year around the same time. Never saw an increase! Scam!
Got a call. IRS Scam. Got another call from a different number stating they also were from the IRS. DO NOT CALL BACK AND DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO ON YOURSELF. The IRS never uses the telephone to discuss anything about your taxes. These people are phishing to get a credit card number, a social security number, anything in order to steal your money or your identity. They sometimes will even know the last four digits of your social security number. HANG UP ON THEM AND BLOCK THEM.
