I got a call from this number. They left a automated message, saying my
Application had been approved. I have not submitted any application. They never say what company they are with also.
A person from this number called asking for personal information. They said they were from the IRS. When I called back, the person on the other end ansered with a 'hello'. If it were the IRS, shouldnt they identify themselves as such?
I just got a call from this number and he asked me if I had an attorney? If not to get one that the Police was gonna arrest me that the IRS was looking for me.
I work as an accountant and we were just warned from the IRS about these calls. The IRS will never call you warning you this way. They will make initial communication by letter then if verbal communication is made they will have a badge number and must identify as an it's agent. These people are scamming people to call a secondary number with a "case" number and asking for bank information to transfer funds. The IRS would never do this please do not deal with these people. If you feel you may actually have an issue with the IRS Google the number for the IRS direct and speak to an agent or speak to your tax person to handle the issue.
They just called me and i called them back and asked what i owed and he didnt reply he said we already called the police and they are on the way you owe 3,000 dollars. Then i said ok but from where and he said im calling the cops she thinks shes smart ima call the cops so they arrest this [***]!!! Lol it is hilarious because i know for a fact that the irs would never express themselves like that.
Just received a message today, Agent from the IRS that the IRS is looking for me with a Legal Notice/ Letter..Requested, that I should call back immediately. When I did message said he was Robin Winslow or sometrhiong last name not clear.
