Who called from 8017428161

caller wished to send me a cd with govt. grant info. for a nominal fee of $6.95 (on my credit card, of course) I asked that my name and number be deleted from their system. time will tell if that is a happening thing. kept trying to sell me this cd even after i made this request. very pushy.

Called 3 times from that number, when answered their is no response.

The last call I got was just before 8pm and it is 22 minutes past midnight and they haven't hung up their end of the phone to disconect me so I can use my phone. I have notified two Sheriff Depts in two States.
I'm calling my phone company on my computer phone in the morning. Dening me usage of my private phone line for hours is wrong. I have had people calling me that eventually got threw via a third party and their cell phone.
I traced the call with several lookups to Sandy Utah and then to Alta Utah. Excange 801-742 (Quest Corp) 360 Network (USA) Inc switch ALTAUTMARS1 and it is a ground phone. Their number when called repeats a message : press 1 to get a operator, 2 to be removed from their call list, 3 push star to disconect. The 1 sends one to a message,"sorry our switches are full please pick another choice from the menu." 2 claims to have removed the number of the phone currently calling. and 3 will not get them to hang up.

We've been getting calls from this number for weeks now.  We have caller ID so if we see that # we just don't answer.  They never leave a message on the ans. mach.  they just hang up.  Several times when I saw that number I picked up and immediately hung up.  It's them again as I'm typing this.  This is nuts!!!

1st call asked for me by name, said they had money for me and my spouse knew it was a scam & told them we weren't interested. They have called back 4 times starting early this morning with no agent on the line to respond. I called back & put my number on their "do not call list". I hope it works!
