Glad I checked this number. They sent a text with a link from http://themsmealliance.org/ the whole link pulled up a spoof site for where I had my ad listed. they wanted to trade a 2016 car for my 64 convertible. I don't click on links received from unknown persons. I told them the link did not work correctly and to provide more information about the trade. It's been 7 hours and still no response. Seems like they are phishing to get my user name and password for the site. I also alerted http://themsmealliance.org/ that their site may be compromised. Be vigilant people.
Sent a text wanting to buy hay. Was wanting all my info to put on the "cashiers check" but unwilling to give me any information on who he was or who would be picking up the hay. A farmer only wanting to buy $400 worth of hay and needing it in Utah from arkansas? Seems a little odd to me. When i Call the number, no one answers.
I got a text asking for a the price of a big screen TV I posted in Craigslist El Paso, I replied and we exchanged several texts, they wanted to get my name and address to write a check to purchase it, this is one of the texts: "I AM OKAY WITH YOUR PRICE. I AM OUT OF TOWN RIGHT NOW I SHALL SEND YOU A CHECK I SHALL INCLUDE MY MOVERS PAYMENT, AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE THE CHECK YOU GET IT CASHED FROM YOUR BANK DEDUCT YOUR PAYMENT GIVE THE EXCESS TO MY MOVER WHEN HE COMES FOR PICK UP, OKAY?"...I gave them a fake name and the address of the police station close to my home.
