I got a missed call on my cell phone from this number today. I didn't know who it was so I decided to search for the number online. After reading some of postings above, I think I figured it out. I bought a new phone from T-Mobile yesterday and I was told that I may be contacted by their office for a customer service survey. It is supposed to be something that they do randomly to ensure that their sales associates are doing their best.
Whaddaya know, on June 24 they called two more times! 5:29 and 7:08 pm (PST), still no message. I'm not answering and I'm not going to answer, so they're either going to talk to my answering machine or give up.
I did not answer this phone call because I didn't recognize the number. 801 is a Utah area code. As per the blog from which this link was accessed, a lot of people have gotten unwanted/unsolicited calls from this number. I'm not interested in receiving these calls.
