The second number "1 800 935 9935" which is on the back of their debit cards aparently is CHASE and I did talked to them (after NOT giving them my account number it went through anyway) they said the number that called me and you all "1 801 823 2024" is NOT a chase number so be carefull folks!
I don't believe this is Chase Bank themselves, but this IS a company that does SURVEYS for Chase Bank (and probably for other companies as well). The first time they called, they left a message (although no call back number). I answered the second time they called and they asked me to give a rating between 1 and 10 regarding my last visit into the local Chase Branch, and why I would give the rating I did. They did not ask for any personal information, and the survey took only about a minute. I really don't think it's a scam. Hope this helps.
(By the way, when I first answered the phone there were a few seconds of no sound, so I think you have to be a little patient to actually get the person back on the line. And yes, the woman did have a heavy accent, a little hard to understand at times, but it was OK).
Got two calls today from this number which says it' a Utah caller. I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. Gotta see about blocking this number!
I received several calls from this number yesterday: 1-801-823-2024. I was not at home, but no message was left. I think it is a scam, not sure though...
As with many of the people in this thread, I received a strange call from this number. I didn't pick up. When I listened back to the message they left, you can hear, after the first 45 seconds or so, there's a click and a woman's voice comes on the line and seems to ask for me by name. The call was garbled and mostly unintelligible. I could not even make out who she said she was calling on behalf of. Given her accent and the poor call quality, I would not be surprised if calls from this number originate overseas and just route through a switchboard in Utah. Anyhow, I thought your comment was appropriate, and most likely to be accurate. Other complaints about this number could be due to wrong number in the survey company's records.
