The second number "1 800 935 9935" which is on the back of their debit cards aparently is CHASE and I did talked to them (after NOT giving them my account number it went through anyway) they said the number that called me and you all "1 801 823 2024" is NOT a chase number so be carefull folks!
I get the same ID...Utah. If it is Chase, you really have to read that finely printed paper they send out with statements. They exercise the right to "share" your information with 3rd parties; knowing this, it is most likely an agency that "does" these calls. Yes, they call 6 times a day and always around dinner time.
This is Chase...for all the messages on here that says it is not....not true. My son does business with chase and everytime he does a transaction where he has to "deal with a situation" they call. We call back and it is deffinitely Chase...this is the number they also use from their fraud department...again we know this to be true as my son had a fraud situation he had to deal with through them. If you get a call from them I suggest you call back. This is how my son learned there was a hugh problem with his Chase account and the fraud department had to get involved. I know these calls are irritating but believe me we called back and it turned out to be a good thing we did or my sons account would have been gone as someone had hacked into it. Thank you Chase.
Part of a fraud campaign targeting numerous financial institutions. Note the pattern of shill postings all claiming the number is real - an obvious giveaway.
The large number of phony posts claiming the call is real come from some con artists spamming the site to try to fool people. There is a similar pattern to other fake calls claiming to be from Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, US Bank, Wells Fargo, RBC, PayPal, etc. all with the same shill postings:
