Second call from this number, guy with a heavy accent, I could hardly understand him. Said he needed to talk to me about my computer. Told him mine was a corporate computer with all the state of the art protection Money can buy and my phone was interconnected to the computer. He hung up.
Googled the number before answering, saw this post. As expected, dude with thick accent said he was calling about my computer so I said I didn't have one and hung up. Not sure where they got my number, but I used Yelp to get some quotes for stuff, so wonder if one of the companies shipped off my number.
825 is an exchange in area code 801 that has been around for over 40 years that I know of. Long before cell phones, so no you can't return texted it because it is not a cell phone exchange. On the other hand, if you don't know who's calling you in this day and age of constant scammers, don't answer it, then look it up online to see what others say about the number. If it's a legit number, it will usually show who it belongs to. This number kept calling me until I added it to my "auto reject list".
