The lady asked if I was a current Sunday only subscriber to the Star Tribune newpaper, and I replied yes. She said they are offering a big discount if I would like to add Mon- Sat. I told her politely No thanks, I prefer to receive only the Sunday newspaper, but thanks for calling. She said Well it's only an extra 3.00 (or something like that). And I told her again, no thanks, I only want the sunday paper, thanks for calling. At this point I would think she would have said Thanks for your time and have a good day.. but that didn't happen. She said well what about the Wed - Sat paper. I asked if I was talking to a computer, and she replied no you are not not. So I said, are you not listening to what I am telling you? And she said I have to tell you about all the discounts you could get. I told her, even if you gave me the paper (for the rest week) free I wouldn't want it, because I only want to receive the Sunday paper. And she started arguing with me as to why I wouln't want to take her offer. I hung up at that point, but wished I would have hung up the first time she didn't listen.

If you want them to stop calling you, call 440-331-6633 and there will be instructions on adding your phone number to their DNC (Do Not Call) list. If you don't do this, they will keep calling you.
haha, that's who's calling me too I think. I was getting calls from a different number and just never answered, then they quit for a couple weeks. now this number is calling and I'm thinking its the same place. After reading your experience I think I am going to answer next time they call and mess with them. Teach them not to call again. I told them when I canceled my paper that I wasn't interested in it again. They switched my subscription to my new address when I moved, and I never received another paper, apparently the carrier couldn't find my house. So they decided to charge me anyway.
