call came from provo utah. i added it to my "junk crap calls" entry in my phone book. now have about 20 numbers in there, so when they call, the little window on the phone says Junk Crap Calls and i just put the phone back down.
I've received two calls from this number, 801 852 8702, to my cell phone. Each time I've told them they're calling a cell phone which is on the National Do Not Call List. This company which I believe is Federal Financial Group which is placing calls from Provo, Utah needs to be prosecuted - if only the FCC would do its job. The number of complaints about this number should trigger the Feds to take action - but don't hold your breath. I've never heard of any offenders being fined under the Federal Do Not Call program. And, I don't expect them to do anything about this company, either. The FCC is just another ineffectual Federal agency that won't do its job - just like the FDA.
I don't understand why we put any faith in worthless "feel good" legislation from the US Government. It's FLAT ON ITS BACK.
