very persistant caller, whoever he is.
had a soft voice and a definate accent.
wanted to "update information"
I called this number back 2x, once whike he was calling me at the same time.
Both times I got a recording that the number is not available
called this number several more times yesterday and once more this morning.
each and every time, there's a recording that states "this number is temporarily unavailable".
Very SUSPICIOUS.
Particularly if one can call out from this number, but can not call in - at any time of day.
I won't answer this number (came in again today) until I find out more about it and/or can call it and get an answer.
[even then, I still may ignore calls from this number]
Our answering service customer got a total of 34 calls from them in June 2014. On a long call we logged the caller may be lying but he said that he was with Blue Cross / Blue Shield and wanted to send over some medical records and wanted our customers fax number and address, etc. Sorry to say our agent probably gave him WAY too much information. All calls were to doctors office - probably building a mailing and phone and fax list for future telemarketing. ANI Name says "UT PROVO"
I received 7 calls from this number in 45 minutes. I answered the first call, but it was just a fax beep, so I hung up. I didn't answer the 6 other calls, and they didn't leave a message. Very annoying!!
They are collecting doctors' information for their database. They will introduce like: on behalf of Blue shield, UHS... We want to verify your information.
But insurance companies already have information of doctors when doctors apply/bill.
Our office blocked them but they keep using different number to call. All numbers are from Utah.
Caller: telemarketing, trying to collect doctor's office information for their database.
