Called on a Saturday night!!! I answered and got an odd beep and then hung up. Had problems with a chase card this summer so this is probably left over residue. Thanks to all previous posts --
I get these calls all the time & long before the Target indecent. I do have a Chase bank account, but they don't have this number. My Chase CC might have this number, but I don't use the card. I have not answered because Chase survey seem suspicious. I don't even bother with complaints on the Do Not Call list because I don't think it does anything.
My second call from these scammers. Let both calls go to my answering machine. No message the first time, this time they asked for me by name. Claimed that they were calling on behalf of Chase. Called Chase myself & asked about the number, they said that there was no issue with my account & that they don't call customers unless they notice suspicious activity on an account. An obvious phishing expedition looking to steal bank info.
