I got a call from this number after trying to cancel my MonsterMail account which I got through Hostzilla. There seems to be a scam where there is no way you can cancel your MonsterMail account. On the MonsterMail invoice, the phone number given goes to "Mobile Repeaters Australia", and then after you leave your name and number as requested, I get a call back from this 801-919-3164 number, where the same Australian guy as on the Mobile Repeaters Australia recorded message leaves me a message with 6 seconds of nonsense before he hangs up. This is either harassment or trying to deflect the fact that I am trying to cancel my MonsterMail account, as I did my Hostzilla account, and they simply have no way to do that. There is no way to cancel and stop paying them monthly, even after going on their web site, sending email, and calling the number on their invoice that goes to Mobile Repeaters Australia. This is the only connection I can see that got me to this phone number. If you want to pay $600 to $800 for a domain name that would cost you $19 elsewhere, Hostzilla/MonsterMail is for you. I feel totally ripped off, and now kicked in the butt, by getting my "return call" from MonsterMail customer service from 801-919-3164!!!
Called this number back and recording said the call could not be completed as dialed. Just another scammer using a bogus number to still your hard earned cash....
Caller id said "PROVO UT". Caller said she was with ? Survey company doing a survey for health care providers. Knew my name. Said question were to be about MS and treatments provided and how I was treated and was offering 75 bucks for participating. Just told them no one with MS here.
