This number is from AM EXP. Husband called last week and explained our situation and we would have the small balance paid in full with a zero balance this week and asked for their patience until that time. Obviously it makes no difference if one tries to help communication in paying an account . In any event AMEX frequently will ring 10 -15 times early in the morning and late in the evening, however in the afternoon 4 times only. Here is an additionial number they will call from 954-503-2843.
It's Amex. not sure why they're calling me. i don't have an amex card! i just called them back at this number and they said they are removing me from their call list. Actually, a couple of days ago, amex called (and it showed them on the caller id), they asked for my father-in-law. that was odd...he doesn't live with us or anything. If you want them to stop calling, call them back and they will (hopefully) remove you from their call list.
what they are probably doing is called skip tracing. if there is someone you know withan amex card that is late their collections department will call any phone number related to them and ask for that person. most credit card companies do this when a customer is really behind on payments and they are unable to reach that person.
I have received numerous phone calls also from 636-947-2321, 954-503-2843, 801-945-9061. Everytime I put them on my spam control they call back with a different number! I also do not have a AM EX card.
I do not pick up my phone any more if it is an outside area code.
